I volunteered at MoPA tonight for Vintage 2009 Grand Tasting. It was really fun to be a part of the event which included live and silent auctions, food from local restaurants and several different wines. I poured a 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon from Kelly Martin Winery.

Meet Dan. :) We went to an opening at the Museum of Photographic Art tonight and spent some time walking around Balboa Park. I tried to get the Prado in this shot but after several failed attempts, I just gave up and let him shoot it.

I had an interview with MoPA today so that I could volunteer for a big charity event they have coming up. Looks like I'll be pouring wine in the VIP area...

Today my students painted the characters they created for our Dr. Seuss inspired project. I'm so impressed by what they have created so far and can't wait to see how the projects turn out!

One of the best things about my job is that I get to create art with my students. I love when I have the opportunity to sit down and color with those little guys! There is no better symbol of childhood, in my opinion, than a box of crayons.
